I’m a freelance writer residing in south Mississippi. It’s been my home forever – I can’t imagine any other place in the world I’d want to be. We live for the salt air coming off the Gulf of Mexico and if you come for Thanksgiving dinner, you’re more likely to be treated to an old family recipe of shrimp gumbo, potato salad and cornbread than a traditional turkey feast – it’s a country thing!
